QA Engineer

What You Will Be Doing

As a QA Engineer, you will take complete ownership of software quality and the testing process, working across both manual and automated testing. You will develop and execute test plans, engage in performance testing, and ensure all defects, bugs, and usability issues are identified and addressed. Additionally, you will monitor key performance metrics and collaborate with the software development team to enhance the continuous build and deployment process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute end-to-end test plans and test cases.
• Perform both manual and automated testing, including performance evaluations.
• Identify, document, and verify bugs, defects, and usability issues.
• Monitor platform metrics to ensure stability and reliability.
• Work closely with the software development team to refine continuous integration and deployment.
• Enhance and maintain testing frameworks and methodologies.

Job Requirements:

• Location: Remote (focused on candidates from Latin America and Eurasia).
• Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in QA Testing.
• Technical Skills:
• Experience in manual testing and various testing methodologies (functional and non-functional).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and API testing automation.
• Expertise in the full testing lifecycle, including planning, design, case creation, automation, execution, and reporting.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, ambition, and proactivity.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with additional testing tools or methodologies.
• Previous experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
