Role Description

Seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop automation solutions by integrating systems and tools at the application and data infrastructure layer, using both Generative AI and traditional software-based automation processes. Responsibilities include ensuring scalability and reliability of automated processes, continuous learning, and working closely with a high-performing investing team to build a data science and automation platform.

Responsibilities

  1. Build internal tools or scripts to automate business workflows via APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.
  2. Develop and deploy Generative AI agents for automated tasks across applications, databases, documents, and the web.
  3. Ensure quality, monitoring, and reliability of automations, including refactoring existing pipelines.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  2. 2-4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role.
  3. Strong Python skills for scripting, API integrations, and automation.
  4. Experience with AI/LLM tools (OpenAI, Anthropic) and process automation tools (Apache Airflow, n8n, Workato, Zapier).
  5. Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  6. Full-stack experience across backend, frontend, tooling, and deployments.
  7. Ability to work in dynamic environments with high product velocity.
  8. Comfort with unstructured data and integrating external sources.
  9. Nice to have: prior data role experience in Private Equity or Venture Capital.
