QAAutomation Salesforce

What the manager is looking for:

Strong hands-on QA Automation + Salesforce testing profile with solid website testing experience. The ideal candidate can immediately contribute to automation rather than requiring significant ramp-up.

Must-Haves

1. 5+ years of QA/Test Automation experience
2. Hands-on Salesforce QA/testing experience
3. Strong website testing experience
4. Selenium + Cucumber/Gherkin experience
5. Able to write Cucumber/Gherkin scripts using existing Selenium automation functions
6. Strong understanding of DOM, HTML/CSS, UI/UX and functional testing
7. Experience with regression, smoke, black-box and end-to-end testing
8. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Salesforce

1. Salesforce experience is a key requirement.
2. Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and/or Data Cloud experience is highly valuable.
3. Salesforce integrations and data validation experience are a strong plus.
4. Candidate should be comfortable learning the client's customized Salesforce environment.

Automation

1. Main focus is expanding the automated test library.
2. Candidate will test functionality manually and then convert repeatable scenarios into Cucumber/Selenium automation.
3. They do not need to be a framework architect, but should be able to work independently with the existing framework.
4. Java/Selenium framework development is a plus.

AI

1. Team is increasingly using GitHub Copilot to create and modify automation scripts.
2. Prior Copilot experience is a plus but not required.

Website Testing

1. Must be comfortable inspecting the DOM/code behind the website.
2. Need experience validating UI elements, CSS/styling, dynamic components, dropdowns, page behavior and functional workflows.
3. Performance/page-load validation is also relevant.
