QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Testing Execution: Execute comprehensive functional, regression, and system testing to identify, track, and report defects across various platforms and applications.
2. Test Case Development: Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data based on product specifications and user stories.
3. Bug Management: Collaborate closely with development teams to analyze, reproduce, and verify fixes for reported bugs and issues.
4. Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective testing cycles.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

1. Core QA Experience: Proven professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in a software development environment.
2. Testing Fundamentals: Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
3. Manual Testing Proficiency: Expertise in various forms of manual testing (functional, regression, smoke, etc.).
4. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Highly Desired Skills (Preferred)

1. Automated UI Testing: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing automated UI (User Interface) testing frameworks and scripts (e.g., using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools).
2. Cloud/Architecture Exposure: Experience working with Azure cloud environments or testing applications built on a Microservices architecture.
3. Agile Environment: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
