This role is perfect for you if you have:

  1. 5+ years as a software engineer shipping production services, including building software that other engineers rely on (such as a platform, SDK, framework, internal tool, or API).
  2. A proven track record of treating infrastructure as an internal product—designing developer tools and frameworks that streamline engineering workflows.
  3. Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python or TypeScript, with a high degree of comfort designing clean APIs and developer-facing abstractions.
  4. Real, hands-on cloud experience. You have operated production services on AWS or GCP end-to-end (compute, networking, IAM, secrets, deployment automation, Terraform) as an environment owner, not just a consumer.
  5. Strong technical instincts regarding the evaluation and telemetry of non-deterministic systems (LLMs/Agents).
  6. A developer-experience (DX) mindset: experience gathering engineering feedback on technical specifications, analyzing internal workflows, and iterating on platform design based on system usage data.
  7. Production security fundamentals: secrets management, OAuth/OIDC, least-privilege architectures, and dependency hygiene.

What you’ll do

  1. Contribute to building and designing the internal self-service platform that lets cross-functional stakeholders build, deploy, and run their own agents and automations securely against company data and tools.
  2. Architect and build self-service infrastructure frameworks that allow application engineers to provision runtime, deployment, and observability stacks independently.
  3. Codify and abstract the company's cloud footprint (networking, IAM, secrets) into highly reusable infrastructure-as-code modules or internal APIs.
  4. Build and implement the evaluation frameworks and observability practices required to securely run AI systems in production workflows.
  5. Evaluate ecosystem needs holistically across the business to spot and execute platform investments that scale across multiple technical teams.
  6. Align architectural deliverables with core application workflows to ensure the platform integrates cleanly with shipping requirements.
  7. Provide technical escalation availability during agreed windows for core platform infrastructure support as requested by the engineering leadership team.
